Statement on Digital Accessibility
The University of Erfurt, the Friedenstein Castle Foundation, and the Thuringian University and State Library in Jena as part of the Friedrich Schiller University are committed to making this website accessible in compliance with national legal requirements to implement the Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council in a barrier-free manner.
Current level of compliance with the requirements
The website, its functionality, and representation on common devices currently largely comply with the Directive (EU) 2016/2102 and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0. No third-party BITV test has been conducted yet for the listed contents.
The content management system TYPO3 is used for the editorial and technical operation of the website.
Preparation of this accessibility statement
This statement is still under development.
Inaccessible Content
- Missing alternative text for images, graphics, links, and tables in some cases.
- In some cases, very low contrast between text and background colours.
The compilation of inaccessible content is not yet fully completed and will be continuously updated.
Our website was launched on April 17 2023, while still under development. Therefore, not all technical requirements for accessibility could be implemented.
