replacement professor at the University of Ottawa’s Department of History, on leave from the Canadian Museum of History where he has served as curator responsible for French North America since 2011. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Toronto (2012), and his research focus has been the history of Franco-Indigenous relations during the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries: conflicts and diplomacy, missions and migrations, identities, material culture and commemoration
